Chastity and Human Development
This talk is part of a Safe Environment Program geared towards parents. This talk is designed to address "HOW" to teach the delicate subject of chastity to children. It focuses on helping parents to prepare their children for understanding chastity within the context of creation and purpose in their vocation in life. It gives help in understanding that the most beneficial way to teach areas of morality is through example and that formation of children also involves formation of parents.

It focused on helping parents to understand their child's development in context. It presents an integrated view of development including physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual, placing sexual development within this integrated context. Specific examples and suggestions for teaching chastity and human sexuality within the integrated development of children are presented.

This talk is about the Catholic Church’s teachings on Chastity including the Church’s teachings related to single life and marriage. It presents Chastity as the goal for all Christians and give practical suggestions for living this beautiful virtue both among single people and within marriage.
